How it works

Please note: Ablagewerk products are in German and designed for paperwork in Germany. The filing plan follows German categories, and the retention periods it lists are those of German law (German Fiscal Code, Commercial Code). They are not suitable for other countries’ rules. Ideal if you live or run a business in Germany and file German documents.

1. Choose a product – folder spine set, filing plan, or both in the complete bundle.
2. Order – check the order summary and pay with PayPal or Stripe (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, SEPA).
3. Download – receive the link by email, save the ZIP file and unzip it.
4. Print – print the PDF at “actual size / 100 %” and cut out the spines.
5. Set up – create your binders according to the plan, add the tabs and start the routine.

Printing tips

• Print a test page first and measure it with a ruler.
• Slightly heavier paper (120–160 g/m²) makes spines sturdier, if your printer can handle it.
• If the standard sizes do not fit your binders, use the editor included in the folder spine set.

What you need

• A PDF viewer (e.g. Preview, Adobe Acrobat Reader or a current browser)
• An A4 printer
• For the editor: a current browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge) – works without an internet connection
